2022 Trunk or Treat

Thanks for your interest in helping pull off this huge event! We need your help so read thru the list of volunteer spots and pick one that matches you!

Donations

We need individually wrapped candy and any size pumpkins! The candy is given out at the cars and some stations, while the pumpkins are used for decorations and at the pumpkin bowling station.

Donations can be dropped off at our services, or during business hours the rest of the week.

Thank you for your generosity!

Car Decorations

We line up decorated cars in our parking lot so that guests can walk around the parking lot and “Trick or Treat” at each one. We are looking for at least 25 cars to be decorated. There are tons of fun ideas out there and links to them are sent to you when you sign up.

We ask you to avoid occult themes and keep it family friendly. Decorated cars need to be at Celtic Cross 3:30PM so we can lock down the parking lot and have no moving vehicles while children are near. Most Decorated Cars also bring a lot of candy to give out, but the church is collecting candy to supplement any shortfall.

If you want to volunteer to do the car decorations please click the link below!

Inflatable Stations

We will be having a slide and an obstacle course. Our hope is that it is super fun and safe! That’s where you can play a part!

We want to be super friendly, welcoming and control the entry point of the inflatables so that only one person per lane is on at a time. Having volunteers at the entrance and exit of the inflatables we will ensure safety and work together to keep the line moving.

Once you sign up there will be an email to give you a more detailed instructions. If you are interested please click the button below.

Traffic Crew

We are hoping to have 400 people come thru this year’s Trunk or Treat. Most of them drive here and with only one section of parking closed off for the Trunks or Treat itself, parking and maneuvering is a challenge. Luckily we have people with experience! Gene Johnson is leading this group again this year and so we are hoping for about 6-8 others who are willing to come early (3PM) and keep traffic moving! There is a lot of time on your feet, and you will be some of the first impressions of Celtic Cross.
