You can have a relationship with god

The most important decision you will ever make is to start a relationship with God by placing your trust in Christ to be your Savior. Our choices, our failures, our sin, result in separation from God.  Through the ages, individuals have tried many ways to bridge this gap, without success. Our trust in Christ is the only remedy for this problem. Jesus died in our place and for our sins—He bridged the gap for us. When we place our faith in Christ, our relationship with our creator is restored.

  • Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" John 14:6 (NIV)

  • All have sinned and fall short of God's glorious ideal. Romans 3:23 (NIV)

  • God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you cannot take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8,9 (NLT)

Pray this prayer to start your relationship:

"Dear Jesus, thank you for making me and loving me, even when I've ignored you and gone my own way. I realize I need you in my life and I'm sorry for my sins. I ask you to forgive me. Thank you for dying on the cross for me. Please help me to understand it more. As much as I know how, I want to follow you from now on. Please come into my life and make me a new person inside. I accept your gift of salvation. Please help me to grow now as a Christian."

Online Groups

At Celtic Cross we talk a lot about getting connected. We believe that being involved in a group is the best way for all of us to you grow in our relationship with God and others. God designed us for community, which means that we do not have to do life alone.

One way we can all connect is by participating in online groups. These typically run 45 minutes to an hour and include connecting with others, learning from the Bible and sharing prayer requests.

We would love for you to try a group!

Serve

Celtic Cross comes to life each week because of a team of volunteers who use their gifts to serve and impact others. They play an essential role at Celtic Cross and you can too. There are many ways people can serve in different areas using their unique gifts and talents. Below are just a few:

  • Family Ministry: small group leaders, welcome area, prep team

  • Guest Services: coffee hour

  • Production: audio, video, graphics, photography

  • Traditional Worship: choir

  • Modern Worship: band, vocals

  • Facilities: Monday morning maintenance

Invite

We aim to be an inviting church that leads people into a growing relationship with God and others. As we work together, we would like to help you be prepared in inviting others in your life to experience the love of Jesus.

Think of a time when you were not as connected to God or a church home. Pray for your family members, friends, and co-workers. God has placed them in your life for a reason.

Everyone has a story to tell and it is about what Jesus has done in our lives. No one has your story, and no one can tell it like yourself! Having a template might help you compile your thoughts:

  1. The story could start by reflecting a time in your life when you were (blank) and (blank)

  2. And then you met Jesus, received his forgiveness and began to follow him...

  3. Now you feel (blank) and (blank)
